Whats involved in a Maternity Photo Session with me ....

What happens when I enquire with you, Linda ?

The best way to catch me is through my contact form . That way your enquiry won't get lost in the many emails and dm's I get every day !! I will look for the ideal time to do your session and get back to you with a proposed date and all the info you need to book your session with me. The best time to have your maternity session is when you are between 28 & 34 weeks pregnant.

Once we agree on a date for you session, I will send you on an online booking form. You fill that it, pay the session fee and pop it back to me.

Then I will book your make up appointment (and hair appointment if you want one) with my local salon. They are fab and well used to doing make up and hair for my sessions, you will be pampered there for the morning :)

We will also at that stage book in our zoom call to go through all your queries and prep before the session day. We can discuss outfits and any special requests you may have. All my sessions are designed around you and bespoke to you !

I will also send you on an email with all the prep points that you need to be ready for your session day.

What happens on the day of my session ?

First things first you will be pampered by the salon having your make up and hair done, thats a promise !

Then you will head up to the studio where I will have everything ready for you. I have a full wardrobe busting at the seams with beautiful gowns, dresses and fabrics :) We will have discussed on our Zoom Call what outfits we are going to use on they day and I will have them ready to go for our session.

A Two look session will last approximately 1 hour up to the Four Look session which can take about two hours. We take plenty of breaks so you won't be standing posing for that whole time.

What about the posing ???

There is NO NEED to stress about this at all !! I will talk you through all the posing step by step on the day. You will not be left standing at any point wondering if what you are doing looks ok. I will go through it with you at every point. Its not something that any of us do on a regular basis, if at all. I'm acutely aware of that so I will coach you the whole way along.

Can my partner, baby's siblings, family pet be involved too ???

Yes of course they can !! From the Two Look collection upwards partners, baby's siblings and family pets are all welcome to join in our session. If your partner is hesitant to get involved you can assure them that it is only a very small part of the session that they are involved in, that is unless they want to take part in more ;)

Your furry baby is also most welcome, some of my favourite maternity images include the family's first furry baby :)

What happens after our session ?

So once our session is complete I will upload your images and back them up to make them safe, before I do ANYTHING else. On the day of your session, if you would like one, I will edit and post a sneak peek on my social media, usually the one I am the most excited about !!

As close as I can to two weeks after your session I will send you on your fully edited gallery. Depending on which collection you picked, you then choose your images to keep. You can of course upgrade at that time to keep extra images if you just can't narrow down your selection !

I can also go through framing options or album options if that is how you would like to display your images. There is no point in them staying on a drive somewhere for no one to see !!

Digital copies of your chosen images will be sent to you straight away to download. Prints, Frames and Albums take 4-6 weeks to arrive. Prints and albums I will post to you. Frames I hand deliver so that they get to you in one piece !!
