  • A lovely day in Lexlip - Ann-Marie & William....

So thank the Lord the weather Gods blessed us with the perfect wedding weather today !! I must admit I was kind of worried when I heard the rain beating against the windows last night.... But thankfully the sun shone this morning and by wedding time there was a light covering of cloud, perfect photo weather !!

The ladies were lovely and relaxed when I arrived in Leixlip. Hair pretty much finished by the lovely Lily and make-up done by themselves !! A very talented bunch :)

Ann-Marie was wearing the most beautiful head piece I've seen, a gorgeous alternative to a veil. It suited her to perfection ! And without much fuss or panic the time came for the short 2 minute spin around to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo and the awaiting guests and William of course !

Father presided over a very personal ceremony, Williams home parish priest had also made the journey to celebrate the mass with them. There was a bit of humour, a few tears and a weeney bit of nerves but it all came together beautifully. And waiting for them outside with a unique guard of honour were the 'Cave-People', Williams caving buddies :)

For the reception them we headed to one of my favourite local venues, Leixlip Manor & Gardens. Such a fabulous setting and with the gardens looking their best in todays sun, the perfect location for a wedding shoot !

As I left them this evening they were sitting down to what smelled like a fabulous meal, it certainly set my tummy rumbling.

And this blog would not be complete without one move appearance by the crazy 'Cave-People' !!

    Wishing you every happiness together,

    Linda xxx
